(If you live in an apartment I\u2019m guessing no!)<\/li>\n<li>How will I go about finding homes for the kittens?<\/li>\n<li>Is my cat healthy enough to have kittens? (Consider the likes of hereditary disease and even cat flu)<\/li>\n<li>Do I know enough about breeding cats?<\/li>\n<li>Do I have the time required to look after and care for kittens? (If you have a full-time job this is <em>very<\/em> unlikely)<\/li>\n<li>How will my (human) family feel about the idea to breed?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"txt\">Still set on breeding your cat? How will you find the best stud for your glamour-puss? Do you even know what qualities to look for in a stud?<\/p>\n<p class=\"txt\">You will also need to know what to feed your cat\u2014and not just during the pregnancy but for the rest of the time too. Female cats (queens) need a top-notch diet to produce the best kittens on the block!<\/p>\n<p class=\"txt\">Brushing up on the ins and outs of a cat birth is a must. After all you\u2019ll need to know how to cut the umbilical cord, what to do in the case of an emergency, and the essential supplies needed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"txt\"><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"655\" height=\"434\" src=\"https:\/\/www.zookie.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/003-10-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2572\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.zookie.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/003-10-1.jpg 655w, https:\/\/www.zookie.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/003-10-1-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 655px) 100vw, 655px\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"txt\"><strong>Big responsibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"txt\">Breeding cats puts you in charge and once the litter arrives it\u2019s not just one cool cat you need to care for, it\u2019s a bundle of fur balls. Yes there\u2019s food, but there\u2019s also other pet supplies and the cost to vaccinate and de-worm them.<\/p>\n<p class=\"txt\">Even so, cat breeding can be very rewarding.
