Following this, tissue samples containing Dylan\u2019s DNA were\u00a0supplied to a Korean cloning firm and recently the couple were told that two pregnancies had occurred in surrogate dogs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"txt\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"590\" height=\"831\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-472 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.zookie.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/dog-dylan-expresscouk423371.jpg\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.zookie.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/dog-dylan-expresscouk423371.jpg 590w, https:\/\/www.zookie.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/dog-dylan-expresscouk423371-213x300.jpg 213w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 590px) 100vw, 590px\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"txt\">The puppies have been named Shadow and Chance, after characters in Laura\u2019s favourite movie, Disney\u2019s Homeward Bound.<\/p>\n<p class=\"txt\">The puppies are said to have markings very similar to deceased Dylan, making them look very alike.<\/p>\n<p class=\"txt\">Shadow and Chance are the first puppies in Britain to be cloned. The Uk\u2019s <em>Daily Mail<\/em> newspaper reports that approximately 700 dogs have been cloned by the South Korean lab so far, with Sooam Biotech being the only company in the world that offers commercial dog cloning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"txt\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"512\" height=\"512\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-471 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.zookie.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/t2_fi68k.jpg\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.zookie.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/t2_fi68k.jpg 512w, https:\/\/www.zookie.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/t2_fi68k-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.zookie.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/t2_fi68k-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.zookie.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/t2_fi68k-100x100.jpg 100w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 512px) 100vw, 512px\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"txt\">The pair has set up a <a title=\"we love dylan | Cloned dog\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/WeLovedDylan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Twitter<\/strong><\/a> account in memory of Dylan, which will now track the progress of the cloned Boxer pups.<\/p>\n<p class=\"txt\">The topic of pet cloning isn&#8217;t without controversy.
