Dog lovers set to converge on Melbourne
If there’s one thing people everywhere love, it’s dogs, and for all of you canine lovers there’s a show barking out for your attention.

Now in its third year, the Dog Lovers Show is gracing or rather licking the face of Melbourne between April 29 to May 1 at the Royal Exhibition Building.
After attracting 20,000 doting dog owners in 2014 and 30,000 a year later, the show is looking to celebrate the love for man’s best friend by bringing 500 dogs, 200 exhibitors and various famous vets together in 2016.
Among the likely highlights include: an appearance by TV vet Dr Chris Brown, a tribute to Australian Military Working Dogs, panels on dog health and a Guinness World Record attempt for highest dog jump.
In 2014 the show was voted Best Australian Show and Best Consumer Show, so this is one event not to be missed.
Every man and his dog will be there (literally), although you can’t actually bring your dog along! OH&S issues make that a sad reality.
Single ticket prices range from $12 to $30 with online ticket purchases cheaper than buying them on-site.
The Melbourne instalment of the Dog Lovers Show is open 9.30am to 5pm across the 29th, 30th and 1st of May.
You can buy tickets right here:
And never fear Sydney dog lovers, for the show will be licking your wonderful city’s face between August 6-7.
